Please briefly introduce yourself and your organization:
Lebenshilfe Ahrweiler e.V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and integrating people with disabilities. We have been operating in this field in the region for 40 years and are currently expanding our business in the area of youth welfare. With approximately 140 employees and well over 100 clients, we are a strong social service provider in the Ahrweiler district. In 2021, the Ahr Valley flood disaster hit us hard. 12 of our dearly entrusted people lost their lives. Rebuilding and overcoming the consequences of the flood requires efficient and resource-saving thinking and action.
